Show Day is a holiday round here, so we thought we had better go.
It was a grey day, the smoke from the cane processing plant blending with the dark clouds.
We all liked the chickens best.
I've never seen such an amazing array of chooks.
Fat, fluffy, iridescent, long legged.... they were all there.
There was some pretty impressive wood chopping going on too....
Arthur needs to get practising.
We ate ice creams and managed not to spend too much money on side show alley.
As the drizzle turned to rain we headed home to have our picnic at the kitchen table. Yum.
