Total Eclipse of the Sun

We had a very temporary stand-down on Project 54 up here at Mareeba
at 6:38am on the 14th November.

Due to circumstances beyond our control.

Over an 8 minute period the sky gradually darkened to a false night as the Moon passed directly in front of the Sun, producing an eerie sensation as the silence and darkness enveloped all in its midst.

Of course, by 6:55 we were all back on the job as usual, & considering possibilities of an extension of time variation.

Projects Surveyor Dave Snowden, ‘reckoned’ he had things in control, measuring the inclination to 12deg 27 min 15 seconds.
He had a 'firm grasp' on the situation (see below).

He is now dealing with retinal sunspot.

Phenomenal.
