All to Ourselves

Down a dirt track to a lookout that we hadn't visited before.
The sight of a beautiful deserted beach...
complete with mini waves perfect for Maud and Arthur style surfing!

We walked down, kids on our backs, boards and bags under our arms.
We had the beach to ourselves.
We surfed tag team
and the girls were absorbed in play and discoveries of their own.

It was one of our best new discoveries on our holiday,
really glad it wasn't flyable that day!

The Easter Bunny

The sun came up to reveal a misty Pemberton morning.
It also revealed some small sparkly items, trying to catch the eyes of little people.
It didn't take long.

The Easter Bunny had been to visit.
Bowls were quickly found and filled
(although one ended up rather fuller than the other!)

There were plenty to go round though, so not too much fighting,
even mummy and daddy were allowed to eat a few.
They were so good that Layla tried to eat quite a few with the wrappers on!

Art Appreciation

Grandma, Grandpa and the girls strolling down to the front.
Some totally amazing sculptures appeared at the end of the road last weekend.

All so different, all really beautiful.

I loved this basket and rug, really beautiful and all made from materials found on the beaches by Dunsborough primary school.

The big man with swinging arms was another of my favourites.

Made from felted wool.
Skye liked this, she reckoned it was a sea horse.

Layla 'loved' this one.
Practising her circus skills again
We finished the weekend with a picnic at the free concert.

Ladies who Lunch

Grandma and Grandpa came to stay with us last month,
Well just down the road infact.
It meant we were lucky enough to put our pretty dresses on and go out for some nice lunches.
The main attraction, though seemd to be ....
climbing in pots of various varieties.
